Hey...I posted this yesterday in tech difficulties but evidently no one goes there unless they have a problem! : )
Anyway..I have always used a smartphone to access SR and I haven't been on in about 2 weeks due to phone malfunction and have been waiting for replacement. It came yesterday and everytime I attempt to log in to main site (cause my gosh I have went almost 2 weeks without my SR) the login page does not give me a captcha to type in therefore the login is a fail.
Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas. Could it be some setting on my phone that isn't right possibly? Is something going on with SR right now? Anything? Please someone help me out because I am all out of ideas and getting a little desperate and more than a little annoyed. Thanks in advance...if someone can come up with the solution or something obvious that my dumbass is missing I'm sure I could toss part of a btc someones way (can't remember exactly how much is in acct right now) but I would be very very appreciative!

There are no issues with SR ATM AFAIK, but that could be incorrect. I do have a solution, but you might not like it.
My suggestion is to use a computer to access SR instead of your smartphone. As far as I am concerned, I wouldn't use any device that contained within it the ability to map my location via satellite when I was buying illegal drugs.

I gotcha....it has been lurking in the back of my mind about that (using the phone) I guess my logic was the phone was so much more disposable and other family members get on the home computer and....well...anyway..I see what you are saying and any advice is appreciated.
Ok so it probably is something to do with this device and if I use the comp it should be ok?
I am not completely computer illiterate...I had no problems figuring out how to get to SR and how to use tor and the concepts of it but I don't have knowledge of the very technical parts of it...so you are saying it is definately safer using a computer obviously, correct?
If you have a moment can you explain what the silk road ATM AFAIK is? And thanks for the suggestion (which was my next step today to just try a different device)

Guys just keep reloading the page and switching indentities on your vidalia control panel.
I was connected all night then shutdown machine came back took almost two hours to get a connection, but It's just like this some times...accept it and stop freaking out please. Use your free time to read the important threads you always skip. :P

SR= Silk Road, ATM= At The Moment, AFAIK= As Far As I Know :)

Ctrl+F5.
It'll reload the page without using the cache. if i visit a page i've visited before during this session of my browser, i always have to reload the page with that combination otherwise it shows up minus the updates it should have.. :/
